Greece’s Foreign Ministry has expressed its deepest concern about the strike of Israel in Doha, the capital of Qatar, on Tuesday.
Greece joined regional and international leaders as well as the United Nations calling the strike a “flagrant violation” of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Qatar.
Interesting enough, though, is the fact that the Greek Foreign Ministry did not name in clear words the country that launched the military attack in Doha.
In a post on X, the Foreign Ministry wrote:
“Deeply concerned about the strike in Doha. It constitutes a violation of Qatar’s territorial sovereignty and is contrary to International law.
“Greece calls for restraint, reiterates that diplomacy and dialogue are only means to restore stability and achieve sustainable peace in the Middle East”.

In a military strike, Israel had reportedly targeted the Hamas leadership in Doha for negotiations.
