The Corinth Canal will be closed to navigation as of today, Tuesday, October 14, 2025 for restoration works.
The Corinth Port Authority announced the suspension of navigation in the Corinth Canal from today, Tuesday, October 14, 2025 and until further notice, due to scheduled restoration work on the slopes.
During the work, the passage of ships will not be allowed, while there will be further information from the competent authorities on the date of resumption of navigation.
The Corinth Canal has been often closed to navigation since 2021 when the first big landslide occurred.
