The only farmer with a tractor on the island of Amorgos launched his own protest and blocked the road in Aigiali, in solidarity with his colleagues, the farmers protesting the government policies in mainland Greece.
The farmer placed his tractor horizontal on a road in Aegiali, put up cones and launched the first roadblock on the island.
With the tractor, he managed to attract the attention of the local community and the authorities, without disrupting the daily lives of the residents, local cycladeslive.gr reported.
