The Greek Coast Guard recovered the body of one woman in the sea area of Petalides on the island of Samos early morning Monday, while four migrants remain missing.
The Search And Rescue operation has been in full swing since dawn following a new shipwreck of a immigrants boat.
According to the latest information, 26 people have been located on land, in the Kuroundere area.
Coast Guard vessels, as well as a Super Puma helicopter, are taking part in the search, with operations continuing intensively to locate the missing people.
The operation is being conducted under the coordination of the Unified Search and Rescue Coordination Center, with the participation of a Greek Coast Guard offshore vessel, a helicopter and a private boat, as well as port officers operating from land.
