Hellenic Train services across Greece’s entire railway network will not be running on Saturday, 28 February 2026, due to a strike by railway workers.
The strike aims to mark three years since the deadly train tragedy at Tempi, where 57 people, mostly young ones, lost their life.
In an announcement, Hellenic Train stated that “ due to the 24-hour strike on Saturday, 28 February 2026, no services will operate across the entire network.”
