An 80-year-old man crashed his car into a bank branch in Thessaloniki, claiming that the bank has seized his home.
An 80-year-old man was arrested on Monday morning in eastern Thessaloniki, after crashing his car into the facade of a bank branch.
According to local media, the incident took place at around 05:30 in the morning at Paramanas Square, in Thermi.
The man arrived outside the bank in a car, reversed and crashed into the facade of the branch, causing material damage to the window.
“They seized my house”
The 80-year-old was arrested by the Greek Police and according to information, he allegedly claimed to the police that the bank had seized his house and for this reason, he crashed his vehicle into its branch.
