Ιnflation in Greece is estimated to rise to 4.6% in April, compared with 3.4% in March, the EU’s Statistics authority EUROSTAT said on Thursday.
In the Eurozone annual inflation is expected to reach 3% in April 2026, up from 2.6% in March, according to a preliminary estimate released on Thursday by the European Statistical Office, Eurostat.
In April, the highest inflation rates in the euro area were recorded in Bulgaria (6.2%), Croatia (5.4%), Luxembourg (5.2%), Lithuania (4.9%), Greece (4.6%) and Belgium (4.3%).
In the same month, the lowest inflation rates were recorded in Finland (2.3%), Malta (2.4%), France and the Netherlands (2.5%).
