Three metro stations of Line 2 will close 2.5 hours early each night from Tuesday, May 5, until Thursday, May 21, 2026, the managing company Urban Rail Transport (STASY) announced.
The Line 2 metro stations ‘Attiki’, ‘Stathmos Larisis’ and ‘Metaxourgeio’ will close earlier, due to ongoing works on the rail lines and to install a 5G network.
From Sunday until Thursday, the three stations will shut at 21:40, though Attiki station will remain open for Line 1 electric railway trains.
Trains on Line 2 will only run from Anthoupoli to Sepolia stations and from Omonia to Elliniko stations after 21:40.
A temporary OASA bus service X19 will operate from Sunday until Thursday, to transport passengers from Agios Antonios station to Omonia station and vice-versa, making stops at Metaxourgeio, St. Larisis, Kadmou and Ag. Antonios Station, then Kadmou, St. Larisis toward Syntagma, Peroke, Omonia Station.
