Greece’s Civil Servants Federation (ADEDY) has announced a 24-hour nationwide strike on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
The Federation demands, among others, the return of 13th and 14th salary, salaries to allow citizens to live in dignity, mass recruitment in health, education and social security.
In a statement, ADEDY called on public sector employees, as well as unemployed people and young people, to take part in protest rallies across the country.
In downtown Athens the protest rally will take place at 10:30 a.m. in Klafthmonos Square.
