Greece: Shops Working Hours – Eastern Time, Apr 14-25
Posted by keeptalkinggreece in Lifestyle
Eastern time in Greece is a challenge for godmothers and -father then they are expected to give presents to their godchildren. When I was a child the standard presents, Eastern in, Eastern out were a red candle with a ribbon for the Resurrection night, a big chocolate egg or bunny and a pair of …white shoes! That was the custom back then, when I was a child. Times have changed and children needs have adjusted accordingly. I hardly know a child loving white shoes nowadays, but a decorated candle and a chocolate bunny are always welcome!
