Workers at Athens Metro, Urban Train HSAP and the Tram will launch a 24-hour strike on March 1, 2012. Workers at Public Transport means oppose the new austerity measures, that ‘cancel the rights of workers’ said their unions in a statement.

From what I see and feel in the U. S., which I suspect is the case in the rest of Europe, Greece is now completely written off.
Everyone has a sense that a giant firewall has been setup around Greece. So it doesn’t matter if Greece goes to shit.
The world is now one happy place, as long as we kick the unfortunates out of our sight.
What is Greece to do? Just more strikes?
