Dijsselbloem: “Eurozone finance ministers are losing patience with Greece”

The finance ministers of Eurozone are losing patience with Greece, Eurogroup head Jeroen Dijsselbloem told Greek daily Ta Nea on the day the debt-ridden country submitted its 2014 budget without the Troika approval. For diametrically opposed reasons the emotional uproar of the EUro finance ministers coincide with this of the usual Greek suspects, the honest taxpayers who have been drained to economic death.

Jeroen Dijsselbloem

“Many finance ministers of the eurozone are starting to loose patience with Greece.”

“Greek government should urgently implement its commitments and to directly proceed with the necessary structural changes, which are considered a must in order to regain competitiveness and attract investment.

Greece has still some work ahead.

Negotiations with the Troika on the progress continue in Athens , or rather on the lack of progress Greece has made to its commitments.”

The evaluation process has to be completed immediately. Many Eurozone finance ministers have begun to lose their patience.

The approach of the Eurogroup on the issue of Greece is not about austerity, but about correcting fiscal imbalances and risks.

Greece has made significant efforts, but there is need that Greeks will make new sacrifices.”

Interesting to be underlined is the fact that the Greek middle-class, the low pensioners and the jobless are also losing patience not only with Greece but also with the Euro-partners and the IMF-lenders and thus for exactly diametrically opposed reasons.

It’s also interesting to note, that German Chancellor Angela Merkel hailed the Greek government efforts to contain the country’s deficits.

“Greece has implemented changes over the past years which are absolutely remarkable. Who would have thought that Greece will post a primary budget surplus this year?”

PS I don’t know where is this famous budget surplus, it’s certainly not in my pocket, in my family’s, friends’ and relatives’ wallets.

I am afraid I live in the wrong Athens suburb and network with the wrong people…

will soon read: “Greek people are losing patience with the Eurozone finance ministers”

Ask them if they have had to suffer wage cuts, home posessions, living out of bins in the streets, children starving all in the interests of the ‘BANKS’ of whom they support
