German Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière accused Greece of serious failings in the case of the murder suspect Hussein K, an Afghan migrant suspect of murdering 19-year-old student in Freiburg, Germany.
“It is very frustrating” that Greece did not put the alleged perpetrator on the international wanted list, de Maiziere said.
“Otherwise, the suspect would have been noticed at various stages during a proper check by the German security authorities,” said de Maizière. “This is a very annoying process, and we will certainly have to discuss this with the Greek side.”

Late on Thursday, the Greek Ministry of Public Order issued a statement saying hat the personal data and fingerprints of Hussein K. have been stored in the Eurodac system ever since his arrival in Greece in January 2013. His asylum request had been rejected.
According to the Greek side, his release from the prison was conform with the law.
Eurodac (European Dactyloscopy) is the European fingerprint database for identifying asylum seekers and irregular border-crossers, in operation since 2003.
Apparently, there was a glitch in the system, when German authorities checked for Hussein K. in November 2015… Otherwise, the German asylum experts would not have registered him again as a minor.

This is bullshit from the Germans because they don’t adequatly check people anyway. They let 2000 people with fake passports in. Adn then there are the people with fake stories. This guy could have gotten a fake passport somewhere and walked into Germany unhindered. Germany blaming ‘weak ones’ for their own problems. We heard that before.
