Greeks booed politicians and chanted slogans after the conclusion of the 25th March military parade at Syntagma Square. While the politicians were making statements to television channels, people started to boo them and shout “Thieves!”, Traitors!”, “Shame!” and “Bring Back the Stolen Money!”.
The President of the Hellenic Republic, Karolos Papoulias, and deputy Prime Minister, Theodoros Pangalos, former Nea Dimokratia Defence Minister Meimarakis, chairman of far-right party LAOS, G. Karatzaferis attended the parade and made statements to the press.
