It was a matter of pure luck that no student or teacher was injured when the roof of the high school collapsed. The incident occurred when the lessons were concluded for the day and the students and school personnel had left the building. Five to ten minutes before the incident.
According to oraiokastronews.blogspot.gr, a three-square-meter piece of the roof collapsed right at the main entrance of Mygdonias High School in Northern Greece. No reason has been given for the collapse.
