Greece’s health authorities announced on Monday evening that 295 new coronavirus cases and seven more deaths, recorded in the past 24 hours.
The new cases result from a very low number of daily tests, just 6,670, most probably due to the weekend. Despite the lower number of tests, the rate of positive with 4.42%.
the total cases have reached 22,652, death toll 456.
Again, Attica and Athens top the list with 145 new cases.
43 of the new cases were detected among tourists.
COVID-19 MAP
Greek authorities launched an interactive COVID-19 MAP, an online tool where citizens can check the imposed restrictions and measures as well as the risk level of each region across the country.

According to the official daily bulletin on Monday, 3315 (14.6%) of the total coronavirus cases are related to travel abroad and 9218 (40.7%) are related to already known infection case.
55.7% of the infected are men.
The number of intubated patients in ICUs is 91 from 93 a day earlier. Their average age is 68, among them are 25 women. 91.2% have underlying health problems or are aged over 70.
240 people have been discharged from ICUs since the start of the pandemic in Greece.
Seven more deaths in the last 24 hours increased death toll to 456. Of the deceased 174 were women. The average age of the deceased was 79 and 96.5% of the deceased had an underlying condition or/and was over 70 years old.
Total tests since begin of outbreak are 1,429,670.
Tests in the last 24 hours: 6,670 with 4.42% of them positive. A good, normal number with less reason for concerns is when positive is below 2%.
Daily growth at +1.3%.

Of the 295 new coronavirus cases, 48 are related to known clusters and 40 were detected at the country’s entry points.
