Inspectors of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) located extensive tax evasion in eleven services sectors. The amount of total tax evasion is 15 million euros.
All are companies to which the controls were targeted and with special handling and the results were the object processed by special software due the data of the inspection as the place and the duration of the servicing.
Significant tax evasion was located in courier services, medical services, telecoms, photo services, parking services, gyms, coffee bars, pawnshops and funeral parlors.
Doctors, parking lot owners, tutors and courier companies as well as funeral experts were caught by the ‘net’ of the tax inspectors across the country.
According to some local media, a company on the island of Crete, active in road freight transport services, had reportedly submitted inaccurate VAT returns and income tax during the years 2016-2020 by hiding taxable revenues worth more than 3.6 million euros!

funny that they never went after the germany corporation Hochtief, which was shown already years ago to owe in the neigborhood of a _billion_ in unpaid VAT and IKA!! by now who knows how much higher this amount is!!
