Anstastazja: Kos prosecutor charges Bangladeshi man with murder

Prosecuting authorities on Thursday noon with manslaughter, the main suspect for the violent death of Polish hotel worker Anastazja Rubinsky on the island of Kos.

The 32-year-old man from Bangladesh was initially charged with kidnapping on Wednesday.

However, authorities charged him in addition with manslaughter after a new video from a security camera showed that both he and the victim left his house at 9:40 on Monday night, the night Anastazja went missing.

While the DNA test results from the victim’s fingernails are expected today, authorities are convinced that the Bangladeshi man killed Anastazja and had no collaborator, Mega TV Lives News magazine reported Thursday afternoon.

The latest video has shown that the suspect was coming and going with his motorbike between his home and in Alykes where the young woman’s body was found a week after her disappearance, apparently in a radius of 400 meters.

The video showed that the man finally arrived home at 2 a.m.

It is recalled that his Pakistani roommate told authorities and media that he told them to leave the house when he realized that alleged perpetrator and victim were drunk and there was some ‘sexual’ atmosphere in the air.

So far, authorities have not located the place where the murder took place.

Media suggest that the man tried to have sexual intercourse with the victim that resisted, a short brawl followed and ended with Anastazja’s strangulation.

A police representative told Mega TV that it is still unclear whether the victim was sexually abused before her death.
