Five stations of Athens Metro to be closed on evenings Dec 15-16

Five Athens metro stations on Line 2 – Elliniko, Argyroupoli, ‘Alimos, Ilioupoli and ‘Agios Dimitrios – will be closed from 22:30 in the evening and until the end of the day’s schedule on Sunday and Monday, December 15-16.

The stations are closing so that technical works for the installation of a 5G network can be carried out. During those hours, trains will run on the Dafni – Anthoupoli section of the line.

While the stations are closed, OASA has arranged that the emergency bus line X11 will operate a circular route to carry passengers between the bus stops at Elliniko and Dafni stations.
