Four stations of Athens Metro Line 2 closed May 4–8

Four stations on Metro Line 2 in Athens will remain closed from May 4 to May 8, 2025, from 9:00 pm until the end of service, due to technical works related to the installation of the 5G network.

The stations affected are: Elliniko, Argyroupoli, Alimos, Ilioypoli.

According to Urban Rail Transport (STASY), service on Line 2 will operate only on the Agios Dimitrios-Anthoupoli section.

To serve passengers during this period, the Athens Urban Transport Organisation (OASA) will operate the temporary circular bus line X12. Its starting and ending point will be at the specially designated area of the Ag. Dimitrios Metro station, alongside the starting point of line 109.

At Elliniko station, boarding and alighting will take place at the Station Elliniko stop in the direction of Glyfada.
