The mystery of the woman found to be swimming fully clothed 5 nautical miles of the port of Piraeus has been solved. The 69-year-old woman was rescued by ferry boat Agios Nektarios that was sailing form the port of Piraeus to the island of Aegina on Wednesday afternoon.
The woman was passenger on another ferry boat that had sailed the same route a little earlier.
According to the Greek Coast Guard, personal items of the woman were found on another ferry boat, the Foivos.
The woman was in shock and transferred to hospital.




The rescue pictures were shot and uploaded on social media by a passenger of Agios Nektarios ferry.
The circumstances of her fall from the ferry boat have not be made known.
