Hollowood start Scarlett Johannson was quite surprised to hear that Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos wanted to go for cocktails with her.
Tsakalotos expressed his wish during a debate about primary surpluses in finances committee of the Greek parliament, last week. The issue was about the agreement Greece has to sign with the lenders in order to conclude the second review of the current Greek program.
The Greek finance minister integrated the name of the Hollywood star in his argumentation to show that wish and reality are two different things.
Tsakalotos said: “Mr Mitsotakis [leader of main opposition New Democracy] said would like the primary surpluses to be 2 percent. And I want to go for cocktails with Scarlett Johansson This does mean anything. Also I want a lot of things in life… esxcuse me…But not everything we want comes true. I would also like to go for cocktails with Scarlett Johansson , but…”
Greek reporter Thodoris Koutsogiannopoulos met the actor in Paris and asked her to comment of Tsakalotos’s wish.

The 32-year-old star filed officially filed for divorce from Romain Dauriac on March 7, 2017.
However, our Greek finance minister, Euclid Tsakalotos, 56, is married. And he has no time or money for cocktails, anyway.
Especially not after what the Eurogroup head, Jeroen Dijsselbloem said. That the countries of the European South spend the money aid “on drinks and women.“
