Gamers turned the gaming space into a “battlefield” and destroyed dozens of PC screens at the end of the Gameathlon during the 85th Thessaloniki International Fair.
The ‘smashing event’ was the highlight of the end of both the Gameathlon and the 85th TIF on Sunday.
According to local news website thessnews.gr, organizers, exhibitors and winners of the Gameathlon tournament with the prizes in their hands “united” and celebrated their victory with a sledgehammer and dozens of pc screens.

A guy named “Cowboy”, the person in charge of organizing the tournament, gathered all the computer screens in the center of the stage and with a sledgehammer smashed them.
Now on social media Greeks criticize the Minister of Digital Governance for allowing such an event, when there are pupils in desperate need of pc screens.
