The services of Athens Metro Line 3 operate with some restrictions on Wednesday afternoon, December 3, 2025, due to a power supply problem at stations.
Specifically, traffic on Metro Line 3 is temporarily is operating in the Piraeus Municipal Theater to the National Defense station.
Citing managing company STASY, athenstransport.com website reported there is a power supply problem at the stations and the Line in the Cholargos – Doukissis Plakentias section, which is due to the Public Power Corporation (DEH).
Passengers told media that they were not informed ahead that there was a power supply problem and some found themselves in dark metro stations.
It is not clear when the problem will be solved and the full service will be restored. it should be recalled that metro Line 3 crosses the Greek capital to Athens International Airport.
