Greece’s health authorities announced on Tuesday 7,486 new coronavirus cases and 88 Covid-related deaths in the past 34 hours.The number of intubated Covid-patients in hospitals has increased further to 664.
A baby 4.5 months old was taken off the intubation. The baby was infected with Covid-19 and hospitalized in the last 13 days.
Prime MInister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced the mandatory vaccination against Covid-19 for all over 60 years old. Those who will not comply will be fined with 100 euros per month. More details here.

664 Covid-patients are on ventilators in hospitals from 657 a day earlier. Their median age is 64 years , 60.1% are men. 80.3% have an underlying condition and/or are aged 70 or over.
Of the total in intubation, 532 (80.12%) are unvaccinated or partly vaccinated and 132 (19.88%) are fully vaccinated.

394 Covid-19 patients were admitted to hospital in the last 24 hours (daily change: -5.06%). The average admission of patients with Covid-19 to hospitals over the last 7 days was 464.
The median age of new infections is 38 years (range: 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of the deceased is 78 (range: 0.2 to 106 years).
